For our client, an international high-tech manufacturing company, we are looking for a Services / Facility manager for their Belgian industrial operations.

You ensure the proper functioning of the processes of general cleaning, order, maintenance and repair of movable and immovable property, planning and controlling the component areas of the service, in order to satisfy the requirements of the users and guarantee the optimal conditions of the organization’s facilities.

Tasks:

  • Propose the alternatives for contracting services and leasing real estate when required in accordance with the company’s guidelines.
  • Integrate and supervise the program of preventive and corrective maintenance of movable and immovable property, to ensure the operational and administrative continuity of the areas.
  • Monitor and verify that the cleaning, surveillance and occupational health (Topical) services are maintained in appropriate and safe conditions, in order to guarantee the hygiene of the areas and the safety of the personnel working in the organization.
  • Manage improvement projects related to infrastructure, construction projects, or remodeling required by the organization.
  • Preparation and maintenance of the budget of the integral area of general services.
  • You will be required to ensure that good housekeeping and health and safety regulations are adhered to within the work area. To contribute, be involved in and actively support the continuous improvement process within every facet of the department.
  • Follow and analyze energy consumption, prepare improvements to have savings.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and have in good conditions compressors, forklifts, transformers

Requirements:

  • Desirable at least 5 years of experience in similar functions in industrial companies.
  • English advanced, other languages are a plus (Dutch, French, ….)
  • Supplier management experience
  • Experience with Pneumatic & Electricity
  • Proactive, organization skills, learning agility, dealing with ambiguity, customer focus, business acumen, hands on attitude.
